The Centre for Independent Studies is funded by private sector donations - from individuals, companies and foundations - as well as subscriptions and book sales. The Centre does not accept money from government sources. This ensures that the CIS remains politically non-partisan. Our research is also independent, it is not directed by any of our supporters. The Liberty and Society programme is an integral part of CIS.

Your generous donation (which is tax deductible) would allow us to sustain and expand the programme. It would mean an opportunity for more young people to be introduced to the ideas that are critical to liberty and individual freedom.

Your contribution would be used in the following ways:

  • Support a student to attend an L&S conference. The costs include accommodation, food, lecture materials and administration costs
  • Support student travel to attend conferences for those unable to fund their own travel
  • Support building the website material to make it a learning resource as well as information source.

For more information regarding supporting the Liberty and Society programme contact Jenny Lindsay (jlindsay@cis.org.au)
