Unity Through Diversity: Building Social Cohesion in Multicultural Australia

Professor Andrew Markus, a researcher at Monash University’s School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies and key author of the paper, will discuss the largely positive findings about Australians’ views towards immigration, asylum seekers, multiculturalism and the economy.

He will be joined by Race Discrimination Commissioner Dr Tim Soutphommasane and Beijing-based CIS Policy Analyst Benjamin Herscovitch (via Skype) for a discussion on the importance to our future prosperity of building a multiculturally diverse but socially cohesive society
